Demon Spent the Night In My Goddamned Laundry Room! Pie

You’ll need:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Place oversized, unbaked pie crust into a pie pan.

Peel and slice apples.  Toss apples with dry ingredients in large bowl. Cube butter. Dump the apples into the unbaked pie crust. Dot the top of the pie with butter. Drizzle cream over the top of the apples. Pour bourbon all over the apples. Smile at yourself for how yummy this pie is going to be.  Fold the edges of your crust over your pie. You will have about a 3 inch circle of open apple with no crust. That’s ok. It’s gonna be so fantastic.

Bake at 450 for 15 minutes. Reduce temp to 350 and bake for another 45 minutes. Pull pie from oven. You can drizzle a small amount of caramel sauce over the top if you like.

  1. Loved it! I finally got time to back‐track in my feeds and come and watch your awesome video. Having once tried to make a Mint Julep (probably incorrectly) that seemed to be just a double shot of bourbon with a mint leaf (blech), it’s only that first step that is stopping me from rounding up the ingredients and getting stuck into baking pie.

I’m not sure if I should steel myself for the bourbon, or think up a less potent alternative, but I can see a Demon‐based pie in my near future. Nice work Amber.

Bourbon is an acquired taste, admittedly. I LOVE mint juleps!
